A2 Hosting still has not fixed the Database after their servers failed AGAIN. A2 Hosting is the WORST!
Because of this, new posts are currently missing and I can only HOPE they eventually recover the table they didn't restore after their latest failure.

Just in Time!

While the weather forecast predicted temperatures staying in the mid 40's at night, it clearly got a lot colder last night...

Yep.  Freezing.  Which isn't a big surprise for early-mid September in the mountains.  Many areas of aspen leaves have started to go golden already and my near-panic for getting the exterior of the little workshop finished was well justified.

I just put the final details on the exterior yesterday.  A flood light on each side and an outdoor electrical box on the east end.  Cutting high up in the corner was quite a challenge, but with multiple tools, it wasn't too hard to find one that could fit and cut the needed pattern for the "old-work" boxes to fit snug and secure.

After that, I started working on the insulation, though I really need to clean out the workshop fully before I can really get it all put in.

Surprisingly, the insulation is rated "R13" (more than twice what I thought it probably would be).  Between that in the walls, and that and an added layer of ridged foam totaling "R26" on the ceiling... my little workshop will be really well insulated.  Well... excepting the sliding glass door, which is double-pained, but obviously less insulated than the rest will be.

You are never wrong when it comes to weather. The weather was to be in the upper 30's last night here in Aurora so had a feeling you were right on with your time frame.
Spot light looks great and all that insulation will be a warm welcome when the cold winds blow.
Great job all around.

LOL... actually I am never wrong with the weather because my opinion is that it will do ANYTHING... usually whatever you don't want it to.  Pretty much means I got it all covered.

I got the ceiling all done with the fiberglass batts and the foam board today.  Made for a very long day, but glad to have it done.  Will hopefully have the sides all batted and stapled tomorrow, then I can start putting up the OSB walls.

Am really sore today though, so may have to take a break before the walls.
