A Confusing Morning
I have trained my new phone to wake me up with a soft alarm and then a minute later to turn on some music (since it is just about guaranteed that I didnít get up by the alarm).
The wind was blowing last night and I didnít get to sleep until very, very late, so this morning I drifted and woke several times waiting for the alarm to go off with the intention of turning it and the music off for more sleep. But finally when the alarm didnít go off and my bedroom clock showed past 10, I gave up and got up grumbling all the way. Stupid "smart" phone.
I started the music, got dressed, fed the cats, and began making coffee. And while I was standing with a vacant stare, waiting on the coffee to brew, all of a sudden my music stopped and my phone started making soundsÖ not ring sounds, or alert sounds, or incoming email sounds, or turn on/off sounds, or any of that. What could be wrong with it?
I guess the alarm music sounds very different when I am semi-awake than when I am firmly asleep. Yea. My phone is smarter than me and knew daylight-screw-things-up-time happened last night.
So in case your phone hasn't told you this morning... don't forget to change your clocks... unless you live in that magical place called Arizona where "time change" means some coins fell into your clock.
