A2 Hosting still has not fixed the Database after their servers failed AGAIN. A2 Hosting is the WORST!
Because of this, new posts are currently missing and I can only HOPE they eventually recover the table they didn't restore after their latest failure.

Back from the far side of the world.

travel

This is just a short post to let everyone know that hubby and I have made it back from the other side of the world.

Our trip to Thailand and China was spectacular and we will have a million photos and videos to share eventually, but here is just a couple for now...

Bangkok, Thailand, from our first hotel...

As we arrived at the mid of the hot (or is that the extra-hot?) season, there was a water festival going on.  As I understood it, the festival is held in the hope that the rainy season would start soon, but as no rain was expected for quite a while, they were stretching the holiday as long as they could and it followed in our path around mid-Thailand until we flew to some islands to the south and east.

The festival mostly consisted of a giant water-fight with buckets, super-soaker water guns, and even trucks traveling around with barrels of water to toss upon people.  Surprisingly people who were not actively participating would get a bit wet, but not terribly soaked and most (though not all) of the revelers took care to not splash my camera.

Our first few days with the tour group took us to see many sights and temples around Bangkok.

More pictures will be shared soon.
