A2 Hosting still has not fixed the Database after their servers failed AGAIN. A2 Hosting is the WORST!
Because of this, new posts are currently missing and I can only HOPE they eventually recover the table they didn't restore after their latest failure.

Oh-Deer... and other reasons we don't have fancy new cars.

There are several reasons that we don't drive nice new cars.  The first is, of course, the fact that for a good portion of the year there is a lot of snow and ice that will, if you drive enough, eventually slide you into or onto something that damages your car.  And for the rest of the year... an overly-large population of suicidal Mule Deer and Elk, that are just laying in wait to bodily challenge the structural integrity of your vehicle.  (And that is to say nothing about the price-tag of a new car.)

For hubby and our sweet little turquoise-blue Subaru Justy "Bloobie", only just recently home from the shop from repairs for the first issue last winter... the second issue flung itself into the grill and windshield this morning on hubby's way to work.

Luckily hubby is fine and was close enough to home to get the car back and pick up "Roo" the Subaru station-wagon.  And that answers the question so many people ask me... "Why do you need so many cars?"

Obviously... because three is the minimum for two people living up here...  and the more the better.  While one or two are in the shop you still have some way to get to work... preferably without having to take my precious "Roobie" red Justy daily on a treacherous ice-and-deer-filled obstacle course that is our route to civilization (or Denver... whichever comes first).

As for Deer vs. Justy... nobody wins, but the tiny four-wheel-drive wonder was built back in the days when they actually put metal into the body of cars, and while it looks a bit worse for the wear, it kept hubby safe.
