A2 Hosting still has not fixed the Database after their servers failed AGAIN. A2 Hosting is the WORST!
Because of this, new posts are currently missing and I can only HOPE they eventually recover the table they didn't restore after their latest failure.

A little outdoor progress.

After most of the winter spent pretty sedentary, a little outside work was welcome and I feel good... and exhausted.

The podiatrist gave me a shot of cortisone in my heel and some additional exercises/stretches, as well as recommended a night brace.  Evidently I have not only several bone spurs on the left heel, but also some on the right that thankfully have not been irritated into pain yet.

Unfortunately, I guess I am part of the 1 in 10 that cortisone shot causes swelling and a lot of pain for the first few days.  Then another week had to go by before I started getting the benefits and able to stand/walk for much time without being in a whole lot of pain later.

Of course, we will see how it feels tonight, but currently, I am sore in both feet, knees, arms, and my back isn't very happy either.

Really would have been fine if I stopped at moving some of the junk off the patio so I can start re-laying the brick later....

but I also decided while I had the big wagon out, to get the bench seats I made moved over to the grill area.

Yeah.... the concrete bench seats.  Definitely a two person job.  Not only did I manage to crack one by plopping it down too hard on the table top, but I also got them all set up only to realize there is a thick side and a thin side and they had to be rotated 180.

And of course, the nice textured side I had made to be the top ended up looking goofy with splatters of color, so I left them down-side-up and just used a brick to smooth off the edges a little.  It doesn't look quite as nice as I had hoped when I filled the hap-hazard molds I made to use up the extra concrete from the grill paddy and curved walkway.   So I may move them to another location in the yard eventually, or at least change it around so the table is up higher and the benches lower, but they are put down now and not going anywhere for a while.

Probably not the smartest thing I have decided to do by myself, but it is done now, and I think worth some sore muscles.

Every thing looks wonderful and Rustic.  Please rest now. Maybe a large bowl of ice cream would make your sore and tired body feel so much better. It would be just what the doctor would order if he knew how hard you had worked.

I bet you will be sore tomorrow

Day after and only some soreness in the shoulder blades.  Think I strained them a bit lifting.  However, the heel really doesn't hurt, so the cortisone is sure making a difference.  Hopefully the exercises will have it all fixed up by the time the cortisone wears off in a few months.
