While I will go back in time to add some previous projects as archives to this blog, this will be the first official entry.
Why blog?
I used to email my pictures and stories to family and friends, and then started this family site and made "albums" to tell those stories.
While a picture is worth a thousand words, I realized while looking at some of my albums, that without some context, those thousand words don't always tell the story... Something was lost when the story was nothing but pictures and a few captions. I have been inspired by my new hero "DIYDiva" and her blog, who reminds me a lot of myself (on my better days). So this blog is an attempt to change my picture albums back into a story that hopefully my family and friends can enjoy. As with DIYDiva, I will also try to get a little more in-depth with some of my projects as well for readers across the web.
