NOT feeling strong.
This time last year I was finishing up building a shed/workshop, which included a whole lot of things that I couldn't actually do without creative physics on my side. However, there was quite a bit that was just total brute force. Like digging this rock-filled gravel/dirt out of the foundation area.
And at the end of all that... I was worn down to a frazzle, but I remember feeling strong.
This summer I painted the house for most of the summer... and recently I hauled a big pile of sand, moved the porch swing, repaired and added a coat of varnish to the privacy side of the "grill wall", cooked the worlds tiniest turkey, installed security cameras around the house twice, and pulled up the rest of the patio bricks in the last weeks, but... I do not feel strong.
Today that hit home hard. I went out to dig up the area that a hot-tub had been, to get it closer to level for the re-laying of the patio bricks. I got about a foot wide strip done and was already shaking with weakness. The strength just isn't there... even a little.
As with most projects, this one will take quite a bit longer that I had hoped, but at this rate, it is going to take a really long time.
