A2 Hosting still has not fixed the Database after their servers failed AGAIN. A2 Hosting is the WORST!
Because of this, new posts are currently missing and I can only HOPE they eventually recover the table they didn't restore after their latest failure.

Sneak Peek

I still have to seal around the edges with silicone and painter's caulk and get some touch-up paint, so I will post a more complete bit of information about installing the new door and trim later, but I am almost done with the doors, so thought I would give a little sneak peek...

Replace cracked old door and install matching trim.  Hubby helped get the door installed while he was in town, but the trim was all me.  The trim was surprisingly exactly as annoying as I expected, but not half as hard as I thought it might be.

Before…                                                         After…

Replace bad trim that cheese-head of a repair man put in before we could finance the house... and fix all the things he did wrong with the house-wrap, and tape, and boards nearly falling out with the slightest tug.  Why, yes!  I did almost take a header off my step-stool when the top board flew off with a tiny tug like it had been fired out of a cannon.

Before…                                                         After…

Wow, the doors look great!

Thanks.  I got a bit sunburned doing the trim and pretty worn out, but glad it is up.

I just got the edges sealed this morning.  Will need to touch up the white and try to get a paint-match for the house paint before I can be completely done though.  Luckily I kept several sections of house board that were cut off so that I can take them in and hopefully get a good match on the paint.
