A2 Hosting still has not fixed the Database after their servers failed AGAIN. A2 Hosting is the WORST!
Because of this, new posts are currently missing and I can only HOPE they eventually recover the table they didn't restore after their latest failure.

He will be missed.

Hamper stopped wanting to drink this afternoon.  I laid on the kitchen floor by his bed petting him and trying to get him to drink whenever he would wake up since then.  He passed away around 8pm.

I will be okay, but don’t really feel like talking about it right now.

Well wishes and love to all out there.

I'm not good for much at the moment, I'm in a daze... my cat of 20 years just died. While he was not human, he was as much a person as anyone who is. He liked to hear me read before he went deaf and he would sit on my lap and purr even afterwards whenever I read to T. I will remember him and his antics always and I will very much wish I had been there for a long, long time, if not for the rest of my life. His name was Hamper.

Hamper may you pursue mice, sit in the sun, and have people read stories to you and scratch you under the chin just like you like it. Although I know it will not be daddy doing it... I'll be there soon enough so wait for me kitten. I will do all that and more... You can see the entire world now... and as kittis know, that means it's yours ... I miss you so much my furry son.

So very hard to let pets go. We still miss our old Jake dog. He was 18 and 1/2  finally quit eating and would not get up. I still look out in the dog pen here in Show Low and in Globe and think I will see him. Our thoughts are with you. Hang in there and just remember all the good times you had with him. That is all we can do. Love, Carol

Thank you.  It kinda feels like I am going to cry forever, then I get numb for a while, then start crying again.

It is the little things that are getting to me most.  Like I washed the bed blankets and was putting them on and was hunting around for the soft fluffy blanket to put back on because it is the kind that Hamper liked.  It is strange how many things around the house were there or done a specific way for my big old kitty.

Ten is still meowing now and then because she can't find him.  Her instincts would not let her come near him at all while he was wasn't feeling good, but I know she misses him, too.
